Edes Perkins Nunn age 99 of Summer Shade,
Kentucky died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Metcalfe Health Care Center in
Edmonton. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Delia Witty Perkins.
She was a homemaker and retired from the Kentucky Pants factory in Glasgow.
She was a member of the Summer Shade Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral
services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, CST at the Summer Shade Missionary
Baptist Church with burial in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be
from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton and
after 10:00 AM Friday at the church. She is survived by three children. Jack
(Lois) Nunn of Glasgow. Brenda (Paul) Dicken of Campbellsville and Neda (Boyd)
Alexander of Burkesville. A daughter in law, Betty Nunn of Summer Shade.
Fifteen grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Nunn. Two
sons. Jerry and James Donald Nunn. One daughter Rosetta Shirley, a grandson,
Steven Nunn, four brothers and three sisters.
