Odell Nunn was born May 23, 1945 in Jackson County and departed this life Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, being 70 years of age. He was the son of the late Bob & Mae (Adkins) Nunn.
Odell is survived by his wife, Betty (Tincher) Nunn of Corbin and by two sons, Lincoln Dale Nunn and wife Kellie of Corbin and Russell Nunn and wife Karen of London. He is also survived by the following siblings, John Henry (Bobbie) Nunn, Hershel (Pat) Nunn, Eddie (Debbie) Nunn, Doug (Lisa Moore) Nunn, Eugene (Wilma) Nunn, Loretta (Ronnie) Eitel & Ida Nunn and three special people, Anthony & Sondra McFarland and their daughter, Laura Beth. Odell was blessed with four grandchildren, Alex & Clara Nunn and James & Jared Nunn.
In addition to his parents, Odell was also preceded in death by three siblings, Patsy Nunn, Leonard Nunn & Clayton Nunn.
Odell was a member of the Gray Hawk Reformed Church.
Funeral service was held 2:00PM Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Carroll de Forest and Bro. Russell Nunn officiating. Burial followed in the Adkinstown Cemetery. Pallbearers were Russell, James, Lincoln, Alex & Jared Nunn and Anthony McFarland. Honorary pallbearers were John Henry, Hershel & Charles Nunn and Doug Massey. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
