Elizabeth M. "Betty" (nee O'Leary) Lenardo, 79, of Park Ridge died Feb. 20.
Mrs. Lenardo was a registered nurse. She was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Guild at Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church and past president of the Resurrection Hospital Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dr. Guido Lenardo; children, Maryanne, Dr. Michael (Lesley), Guy, Elizabeth (Salvatore) Celeste, Dr. Timothy (Noell), and Eugene; grandchildren, Brian, Timothy, Gabriel, Olivia, Evan, Matthew, Zachary and Audrey; and brother, William (Marybelle) O'Leary. She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory.
Visitation was in Nelson Funeral Home, Park Ridge. Funeral Mass was celebrated Feb. 23 in Mary, Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church, Park Ridge. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
