Dolores B. Kofoed, 76, passed away on October 31, 2006 at Pinnacle Health Care in Waukegan, IL. She was born on June 11, 1930 in Chicago, IL. Dolores was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and belonged to the Grandwood Park Senior Citizen Organization.
She is survived by her three children, Katie (Ron) Sartin, Bob (Sandy) Kofoed and Ed Kofoed; grandchildren, Jennifer and Mike Sartin, Derek, Kyle and Krystal Kofoed, Edward and Shannon Kofoed; and a sister, Elizabeth (John L.) Schmidt.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, LCDR Robert M. Kofoed USN (RET); a sister, Anne Marie Smith; and a brother, Martin O'Leary.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2006 5 to 8 p.m. at MARSH FUNERAL HOME, 1521 Washington St., Waukegan, IL. Funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 15000 W. Wadsworth Rd., Wads-worth, IL, 10 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2006. Burial at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Lake County Regional Office, 777 Central Ave., Highland Park, IL 60035.
