H. A. O'Neal Funeral Will Be Today
Funeral services for Henry Andrew O'Neal, 91, of 833 Kings Highway, who died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Schumpert Hospital following a brief illness, will be held at 4 p.m. today at the Osborn Funeral Home Chapel.
Dr. J. Frank Alexander, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
Mr. O'Neal, a native of Linden, Tex., had lived here 69 years. He was a retired agent for Mutual Life Insurance Co. of New York. Mr. O'Neal was a member of Caddo Lodge, F&AM, and Elks Lodge 122. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Mr. O'Neal was a past president of the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include a son, Hardy A. O'Neal of Shreveport, and two sisters, Alice O. O'Neal and Mrs. D. C. Johnson, both of Atlanta, Tex.
Pallbearers will be Norman V. Kinsey, R. McL. Jeter, Ben F. Reeves, R. R. O'Neall, LeRoy Scott, Robert Ewig, Hank Fraser and William M. Reddit Jr.
