Mrs. Ellen Bland of 129 Robinson street, widow of William Bland, died Feb. 10th at St. Joseph's Hospital of meningitis. Mrs. Bland was a communicant of St. Vincent De Paul Church, and a member of its Mothers' Club. She is survived by two sons, Thomas and William Bland; by three daughters, Mrs. John Bunce, and the Misses Maureen and Rita Bland; and a sister, Miss Jane O'Sullivan. Funeral services were at St. Vincent De Paul Church, where a solemn high mass of requiem was celebrated by the Rev. William Dougherty.
