Kathleen T. Bielinski, 83, of McHenry, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, at Centegra Hospital – McHenry.
She was born April 28, 1928, in Chicago, to John and Catherine (Murnane) O'Toole. On Sept. 5, 1953, she married Marion "Mike" Bielinski in Chicago.
Kathleen was born and raised in Chicago. At the age of 8 she became a resident of Maryville Academy in Des Plaines.
She was a doting grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the McHenry Seniors Exercise Club. She enjoyed sewing and baking, especially Irish Soda Bread.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Jeffrey) Kenton of McHenry and Maureen (Jeffrey) Hugel; six grandchildren, Erin (Zachery) Reichert, Lauren (Titus) Mielke, Ashley (fiancé, Matthew Fengler), Kendall, Garret and Timothy Hugel; her great-grandchildren, Cole and Brynn Reichert and Jackson Mielke; a brother, Charles O'Toole of McHenry; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike; her parents; a brother, John; and a sister, Elaine Jelen.
The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at St. John the Baptist Church, 2302 W. Church St., Johnsburg. Interment will be in All Saint's Cemetery, Des Plaines.
