Leticia Romero Ontiveros, 49, of Los Angeles, CA. passed away on March 14, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Leticia Romero Ontiveros was born in Glendale, California to Dolores and late Tomas Romero on 9/3/1964. Lety as we called her, went to school in the Los Angeles district. Lety was involved and worked as a Caregiver for children with special needs in Chatsworth, CA. Lety moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1997 to begin a new life. Lety worked for the Post Office in Nevada for 8 years then worked in the casinos as a Usher for special events. In 2003 Lety Ontiveros and Felton Davis became proud parents of a blessed son Lionel Tomas Davis then again in 2007 of a beautiful daughter Dolores Maxine Davis. Lety enjoyed movies, collecting angels (pictures or figurines), singing, dancing but what she enjoyed the most was the casinos. Lety was very loving and remembered by her son as being someone who had a special gift of making hard and sad times become something happy and fun. We all will miss her very much and she will always remain in our hearts.
Leticia is survived by her husband Felton Davis, son Lionel Tomas Davis, daughter Dolores Maxine Davis, her children's grandmother Maxine Davis, mother Dolores Romero, brother Raul Romero, and sisters Sylvia Romero, Yolanda Astorga, Bertha Campos. She was predeceased by her father Tomas Romero and her brother Mario Romero.
Funeral Service will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, 555 West Temple Street, Los Angeles CA, on June 18, 2013 at 10:00 am with Bishop Alexander Salazar presiding. Interment will follow at Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels after Mass.
