Manuel Gregory Ontiveros (1961 - 2013)
Obituary
A much loved daddy, papa, son, brother, cousin, and friend Manuel Greg Ontiveros, 51, of Oxnard, Calif., passed away peacefully on March 27, 2013, with his family by his side. He was born June 14, 1961.
Manuel enjoyed serving The Lord with all his heart, singing to his daughter dedicating songs to her every Sunday night, spending time with his grandson who he called his "Little Bear Master," listening to oldies, eating crab, BBQ's and being surrounded by family. His laugh would just make anyone laugh and it will greatly be missed.
He had a passion to help those in need. He liked going to outreaches, feeding the homeless, and counseling others no matter the age. He had a gentle touch, a kind soul and the best words of wisdom. He was a faithful man of God. A member of Grace Church of Arizona, a Graduate of Life Christian University.
Manuel is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Palomino and Godson, Robert Rangel.
He leaves behind his daughter, Saundra Garcia; son-in-law, Fernando; grandson, Abram; his wife who he loved dearly, Christina Aguilar; his father, Manuel Ontiveros, Sr. (wife Dorothy); sisters, Christina, Marianne, Gloria, Yolanda, Elizabeth, Diana, Raylene and Michelle; and brothers, John Robert and Michael.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Church, 13802 N. Verbena, El Mirage, Ariz., on April 4, 2013, at 6 p.m. and Victory Life Christian Center, 1653 Pacific Ave. Suite 101, Oxnard, Calif., on April 6, 2013, at 1 p.m.
