Catalina G. Ontiveros, 77, of South Bend, IN passed away at 3:52 a.mn. Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 1, 1936 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Catalina is survived by her husband, Camilo Ontiveros Sr. of Indianapolis, IN; six daughters, Gloria (Gustavo Martinez) Ontiveros of Mount Dora, FL, Ciria Gonzalez of Las Vegas, NV, Minerva Ontiveros of Indianapolis, IN, Guadalupe Aranjo of South Bend, IN, Maricela (Alfredo) Delgado of South Bend, IN and Mercedes (Raul) Lopez of South Bend, IN; four sons, Camilo Ontiveros Jr. of Indianapolis, IN, Jesus Ontiveros of South Bend, IN Gerardo Ontiveros of Indianapolis, IN and Juan M. (Angela) Rodriguez of El Paso, TX; twenty-two grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Juan Ontiveros, Martin Ontiveros and Armando Ontiveros.
Catalina has lived in South Bend for the last thirteen years coming from Indianapolis, IN. She worked in housekeeping at the hospital. She enjoyed scrapbooking, knitting and sharing her love for the Lord. She had a very big heart and loved to help people.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
