MR. CRISPEN E. ONTIVEROS, 27, of Lake City, died Monday, March 27, 2006 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Dade City, Florida and had lived in Jacksonville, TX prior to moving to Lake City in 1990. Mr. Ontiveros graduated from Columbia High School in 1997 where he was a member of the ROTC and baseball teams.

After graduation he joined the United States Marine Corp. He was currently employed with Suwannee River Log Homes in Wellborn since July 2002 as a Home Consultant and was Christian by faith. Cris was an aspiring singer with ambitions of being a star which he is now. He was preceded in death by his mother Rita S. Ontiveros in 2003. Emma Pearce has passed 5.16.2009

Mr. Ontiveros is survived by his wife Shelli Ontiveros, Payson, AZ, his father, Alejandro Frank Ontiveros, Dade City, two brothers, Jonathan A. Ontiveros (Paulette) and Alejandro Franciso Ontiveros, Jr., both of Lake City, his maternal grandmother, Emma L. Pearce, Lulu, mother-in-law, Doris Slusher, Payson, AZ and his sister-in-laws, Regeania Yonko, Sparks, NV and Candy Leigh Davenport, Jacksonville, TX. Numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Ontiveros will be conducted on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Jake Richardson, Minister at Lake City Christian Church officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Arrangements are under the direction of GATEWAY~FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 South Highway 441, Lake City. 386-752-1954
