Jessie Ontiveros was born October 11, 1918 to Marcial and Loretta Villegas. She passed away in Merced on Friday, April 22, 2011 at the age of 92. Jessie was a homemaker and mother. Jessie loved spending time with family and friends. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She enjoyed looking at the lights and decorations. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Jessie is survived by four children, Dolores Arenivaz (Frenando), Teresa Guerrero (Raymond), Victoria Ontiveros (Patrick) and Pete Herrera (Mickey), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her bother Richard Villegas and sisters Linda Villegas, Jenny Garcia and Gloria Gaul. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 28 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Prayer Vigil will follow at the church at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitton Family Funeral Service in Merced.
