Mass will commence at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Calexico. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.
Alfredo was born July 2, 1927 in Westmorland, CA. He attended school in Mexico where he was raised as a child. Alfredo worked in the agricultural business until his retirement. Prior to that, he managed the family's business in Mexico. Alfredo or better known as "Abuelito" by his grandchildren, was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grand father. He enjoyed tending to his garden and working in his wood shop. Most of all, our dear father loved to spend time with his entire family, of whom he was very proud of.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isabel and Amelia; siblings, Trinidad, Aurora, Ernesto and Manuel; and grandchildren, Iris and Aaron.
Alfredo is survived by his wife, Socorro; children and spouses, Guadalupe Alfredo(Manuela), Jose (Elsa) of El Centro, Alejandro (Christina) of Imperial, Graciela (German) Gomez of Turlock, Jesus (Maria) and Leticia of Calexico; grandchildren, Laura (Rodrigo) Chavez, Alfredo (Gloria), Nadia, Alberto, Melissa, German, Viviana, Gabby, and Brianna; great-grand children, Abby, Annie and Itzel.
Dad, you will never be forgotten. Your love and sacrifice will never leave us!
