Myrtle Agnes Clarson, 83, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Holmes Regional Hospital in Melbourne. Myrtle was born in Montreal Quebec, Canada on February 5, 1924, the daughter of Catherine Agnes Mullins and Alfred Thomas Oram. She had made Florida her home for the last 42 years.
She enjoyed gardening, music, knitting and reading.
She was a devoted wife and mother to eight children, seven who survive her, including her daughters, Colleen Schaeffer, Kathleen (Mark) Peters and Maureen Grossman; sons, John (Brenda) Clarson, Bruce Clarson, Timothy Clarson and Sean (Christine) Clarson. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Arthur Clarson and a son, Michael Patrick Clarson.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 17th at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Viera. Entombment will be in Brevard Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, Viera, Monday, July 16th, 5-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Disabled American Veterans, 2265 N Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne FL 32934.
