Eva Pearl Oram was an only child born to Charlie and Tressie (Shaffer) Oram in Gilman City, Missouri. Eva grew up in Gilman City and graduated from high school there in 1936.

Eva was especially fond of her parents and close family. She had many memories of them that she would refer to often, Aunt Jess was among them.

Eva first married young and that marriage ended in divorce. She then married William C.(Bill) Branch. He died of cancer in Kansas City, Missouri. Several years after the death of Bill, she was introduced to Raymond Brune of Spring Hill, Kansas though a mutual friend. They were married a few months later on August 15, 1981 at Eva's home in Kansas City, Missouri. Within a few short years, Raymond sold his farm and Eva sold her house in Kansas City and they retired to Arizona. They enjoyed traveling and working in their yard. Eva enjoyed ceramics and decorative painting and a variety of arts and crafts. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution of which she was extremly proud.

Eventually, Alzheimer's disease took it's toll and Eva went to live out the rest of her life in a care facility in Peoria, Arizona. Raymond would visit everyday when he could and would help her with her meals. She died peacefully at the care facility on September 18, 2001. She was cremated and her ashes are now buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Gilman City, MO, next to her beloved parents.
