Camden April 13 - Mrs. Samuel Colclough died very suddenly of heart disease at her home on Railroad street, Saturday night about 11 o'clock. She had been in her usual good health, and about 9 o'clock retired. A few minutes before 11 she was awakened by hard breathing. She was gotten into a chair, and seemed to feel easier. A doctor was sent for, but by the time he had arrived she had expired. Louise Madame Colclough was born February 6, 1834, in Waltham Abbey, England. Her girlhood days were spent in and about that place. At the age of 19 she married Henry Oram. Shortly after her marriage she came to this country and spent the greater share of her life in the town of Florence. She had been in this country but a short time when her husband was killed. Twenty-seven years ago she married Samuel Colclough with whom she has spent a happy life. In 1883 they moved to Camden, and have since made it their home. Mrs. Colclough joined the Protestant Episcopal Church at an early age, and was an earnest church woman and a devout Christian. She was also a member of the Woman's Relief Corps. She leaves beside a husband, five sons, Albert B. of East Florence, Henry J. of Fairport, Charles of Florence, William P. Oram of Rochester and Frank Colclough of Camden. One stepdaughter, Mrs. F. C. Dexter of Adams, and one stepson, George Colclough, also survives.
