7/4/2021-During the Revolutionary War, Asa Osgood, 22, of Andover, Massachusetts, first served as a private in the company of Minute Men led by his uncle by marriage, Captain Thomas Poor. That company of Minute-men, a part of Colonel James Frye's regiment, alerted by church bells, marched from Andover to Concord in response to the Alarm of April 19, 1775.
