Alex died Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at the Chinook Hospice after a brief illness at the age of 55 years.

Alex was a long-time member of G.A. and was very proud of both his accomplishments with the group and the many friends he made there. Alex showed amazing courage, grace and dignity during the short term of his illness. He will be missed by his family and his many friends.

Alex is survived by his brother Shelly and was predeceased by his mother and father, Goldie and Max Osten.

Funeral Services will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel (1702 – 17 Avenue S.W.) on Friday, June 3, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Jewish Cemetery (30th Avenue & Erlton Street S.W.).
