Carolyn L. Knipfel, 85, of 1406 Bluebird, Metamora, formerly of Morton, died Sunday, July 1, 2007, at her home.
She was born May 2, 1922, in Newton, Iowa, to Adolph and Caroline Herzog Osten. She married Carl H. Knipfel on May 5, 1946, in Rock Island, Ill.
Surviving are her husband, Carl of Metamora; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Harrison and Vera McLain, both of York, Neb., and Irene Utecht of Hastings, Neb.; and one brother-in-law, Robert (and June) Knipfel of York, Neb.
Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
