Janice P. Aumiller, 82, of Milroy, passed away Friday morning, Sept. 30, 2016, at Golden Living Center- William Penn, Lewistown. Born in New Lancaster Valley, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. and Verdola Susan (Long) Paige. Her husband, Robert L. "Todge" Aumiller Jr., whom she married June 22, 1954, survives.Also surviving are: a son, Michael R. Aumiller and wife, Cindy, of Reedsville; sister, Harriet Benfer, of Milheim; and grandson, Todge C. Aumiller and wife, Kirsten, of Atlanta, Ga. She was preceded in death by a brother, Merritt A. Paige; and two sisters, Joyce Dunmire and Jean Eleanor Paige.Janice was a school teacher at Armagh Elementary School for 37 years and before that, she taught at James Burd Elementary School, Shippensburg. She also taught locally during the summer at Head Start for a number of years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Milroy, and Elks Lodge Ladies Auxillary. She was a 1952 graduate of Armagh-Brown High School and a 1961 graduate of Shippensburg University.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 42 S. Main St., Milroy, with the Rev. Janice Moody officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to: St. Paul's Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 451, Milroy, PA 17063.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a luncheon at the church after the service. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at a future date.
