MRS. KORTRIGHT, IN HER 83RD YEAR
Mrs. Daisy P. Kortright, 82, of 10 North Chestnut St., New Paltz, whose husband, Irving, died in 1936, died yesterday at Kingston Hospital after a short illness.
Born in New Paltz on Sept. 28, 1882, Mrs. Kortright was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Simon Palen. A resident of the New Paltz area all of her life, she was a member of the Huguenot Grange, New Paltz, and the New Paltz Reformed Church.
Survivors include a son, Irving D. Kortright, New Paltz; a daughter, Mrs. Harold DuBois, New Paltz; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Hornbeck, St. Remy; two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pine Funeral Home, New Paltz, with the Rev. Gerrett J. Wullschleger, pastor of the New Paltz Reformed Church, officiating. Burial will be in the New Paltz Rural Cemetery. Friends may call a the funeral home tomorrow afternoon, 2 to 4, an tomorrow night, 7 to 9.
