GARDINER: Edith M. MacEntee, 85, a homemaker and North Mountain Road resident, died March 9 at Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck. Mrs. MacEntee, a longtime local resident, was a member of the Gardiner Reformed Church. She was born Aug. 22, 1903, in Atwood, the daughter of James and Emma Krum Palen. She married John W. MacEntee, who died March 6, 1984. Survivors include two daughters, Gloria Kavanaugh and Mildred Fish, both of Gardiner, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
