Susan Lea Palmer was born in Fresno, California on November 27, 1948 to Charlotte Lea (Williams) and Billy Mack Palmer. Susan was raised in the central valley and graduated from Wasco High in 1966. She was very involved with her class activities and enjoyed planning reunions with her classmates. She married Don Allen and together they raised their daughter Tonya. Susan was very dedicated to her work where she was an accountant for 40 years. She enjoyed celebrating the holidays with her family, especially Christmas when she loved to decorate with every ornament in the right place. Susan spent her time with her family on vacations to Disneyland, mountains and the beach, always capturing the moments with pictures. She recently enjoyed watching her great granddaughter Autumn dance. She had many nicknames: Susie, Ma and was known for her dry sense of humor that would keep her family smiling.
She is survived by her daughter Tonya Allen and son-in-law Chris Moreno; sister Linda R. Sanderson and brother-in-law Jerry Gould; grandchildren Justin Greenfield, Megan Lanquist and Jessica Allen; great granddaughter Autumn Rose Popplewell; and Don Allen. Susan is preceded in death by her father Bill Palmer; mother Charlotte Hitchcock and stepfather Chuck Hitchcock.
