Charles "Charlie" Papadopoulos, age 61, of Peabody, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 after being stricken suddenly at his home. He was the husband of Donna (Richards) Papadopoulos. Son of Margaret (Hatgigeorgiou) Papadopoulos and the late Peter Papadopoulos. Born and raised in Peabody, he lived in Peabody all his life. A graduate of Peabody High School, Class of 1967, he worked formerly at Sylvania as a Mechanic, the former Stasinos Construction Company in Lynn, and was a partner at C & E Auto Body. He enjoyed fishing, coin and stamp collecting, photography, and fixing things for anyone. An active member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Lynn where he was on the church council, he was past Treasurer of the Ahepa Society, and Past President and Secretary of the Logethios Society of Samos. Most of all, he enjoyed taking care of his family, especially his grandchildren.
