In 1942 Rosairefiled his WWII draft registration card when he and his sister, Annie were living at 13 Waverly Street and he was unemployed. At that time he was 5' 4" tall, weighed 145 pounds and had brown eyes, black hair, and a scar on his left leg.

Funeral from the Riendeau Funeral Home Wednesday morning Mar 11 at 9 o'clock, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Jacques Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Rosaire Paradis, 79, formerly of 13 Waverly Street, Taunton, died Saturday at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Brockton following a long illness. Born in Taunton, he was a son of the late Louis and Delphine (LaFleur) Paradis. He was educated in Taunton schools and prior to his retirement, he served as a corporal in the US Army for 23 years. A veteran of World War Two, he was a member of the David F. Adams Post 611 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. A communicant of St. Jacques Church, he was a member of L'Union des Prieres. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Earl (Valeda) Samson of Taunton and several cousins.
