In Jun 1917, Holida filed his WWI draft registration card when he was single, living in Taunton and working as a clerk. He stated on his draft card that he was born in St. John, Quebec. At that time he was described as having a medium height and build, blue eyes and brown hair.

In 1942, he re-filed with the draft of WWII when he and Agnes were at 91 Kilmer Avenue, their phone number was Taunton 1781, and he was employed by J. K. Milliken at the Mt. Hope Finishing Company of North Dighton. He was then 5' 7" tall, weighed 152 pounds, and had blue eyes and black hair.

Holida E. Paradis, 91 Kilmer Avenue, husband of Agnes M. (Stevens) Paradis, died in Morton Hospital Sunday afternoon after a four months' illness. He was 71. Born in Canada, son of the late Louis and Delphine (LeFluer) Paradis, he had lived in this community most of his life. He was retired and was formerly employed in the personnel office at the Mount Hope Finishing Company. He was educated in the Immaculate Conception School. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and of the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph's Church. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's. Surviving are his widow; two sisters, Mrs. Earl Samson and Ann Paradis of this city; one brother, Rosaire, also of this city; and several nieces and nephews.
