Helen Carstensen, 98, of Pana died Sunday, November 20, 2005 at 12:30 am in Heritage Manor-Pana. She was born June 17, 1907 in Waggoner, Illinois the daughter of Rev. Guy & Mary (Hamman) Park. She was a homemaker and had attended Stevens College in Missouri.
She married Hans Carstensen . Helen is survived by 3 nieces: Mary Fairfield of Sun Lakes, Arizona, Patricia Jean Obert of Columbus, Ohio, Barbara Fletcher of Tampa, Florida; 4 nephews: Paul Rainey of Atlanta, Georgia, James P. McClarey of Sidney, Illinois, John W. McClarey of Decatur, Illinois, Ralph Hedrick, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 brother, Paul Park, age 9; 3 sisters: Faye Rainey, Ruth McClarey, Esther Hedrick; nephew, Frank Hedrick; niece, Fay Pearl Blunk.

Graveside services are Wednesday, November 23, 2005 in Tower Hill Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James P. McClarey officiating.
