Janice Elaine Patman, 84,of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, October 3,2005, at her home. Mrs. Patman was born January 9,1921, in Moorhead, Minn. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, Arkansas. She was a Foundation Board Member of Opportunities, Inc. and was a former Wadley Foundation Board Member and was a member of the Texarkana Memorial Unit. Survivors include her husband, Connor W. Patman of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Connor Wright Jr. and Mary Beth Patman of Dallas, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Jean and Alan Schimming of Texarkana; one brother, Robert Follett of Medford, Oreg; four grandchildren, Jeff Patman, Connor Patman III, Meredith Schimming and Sarah Schimming; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, AR, with Dr. Herbert Wren and Rev. Charles Settle officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.
