She attended elementary school and graduated from high school in Alden Michigan.
She graduated from Munson Hospital Nurses Training School at Traverse City, Michigan, where she also worked as a Registered Nurse. She also worked at Cadillac Mercy Hospital. Her last employment was as Industrial Nurse at Motor Wheel, Lansing, retiring April 30, 1979 after 23 years.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Katherine) Donnellan of Flint, Barbara Ann Spain of Birmingham Alabama; three brothers, Jack Patterson of Central Lake, Michigan, Thomas Patterson of Marne, Michigan, Robert Patterson of Lincoln, Nebraska; one sister, Mrs. Arthur (Betty) Youman of Battle Creek; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Peterson's Funeral Home, Cadillac, interment in Maple Hill Cemetery, Cadillac. Visitation is Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
