Virginia "Ginny" (Patterson) Anderson

Born in Winchester, IN on December 5, 1923 to George and Hazel (Corell) Patterson, Ginny passed away on October 24, 2010 at age 86. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.B. Anderson; 6 brothers, 1 sister, 1 infant grandson, 3 brother-in-laws; and 1 sister-in-law.
Surviving is her daughter, Joyce (Jim) Niswonger; 1 son, Joe (Karen) Anderson; 4 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 2 sisters; 3 sister-in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Anderson, along with her husband J.B., owned and operated the Union 76 Gas Station and Restaurant on the corner of Alward Road and Old 27 for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family (especially her many great-grandchildren). Going to garage sales was great fun for Ginny and she was always ready for an exciting vacation.
Funeral services were held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt, on Friday, October 29, 2010 with Pastor Earl Barks officiating.
