WESTFIELD - Funeral services for Mrs. Anna L. Pennington, 92, of 214 Wells Street, were held at 2 p.m. yesterday afternoon in Gray's Funeral Home, with the Rev. Canon Richard J. Hardman of St. Paul's Episcopal Church officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Pennington, wife of William H. Pennington, died Sunday at the Abbott Manor Nursing Home, Plainfield.
A native and resident of New Brunswick for most of her life, she lived in Meriden, Conn. for 30 years before moving to Westfield in 1967 to live with her daughter, Mrs. John M. Mackenzie, wife of the former Westfield magistrate, who has his law offices in Elizabeth.
Surviving are also two grandchildren.
