Connie Haislip Perkins, 61, of Hendersonville, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at her residence.
Connie had many trusting friendships and was a true Christian. She was a very generous woman, who always thought of others first even through her illness.
She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Haislip.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, David Perkins; mother, Annie Lee Haislip; sister, Yvonne Haislip; brother-in-law, George Perkins; sister-in-law, Elaine (Bobby) Griggs; and aunt, Joyce Allison.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, April 29, at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
A life celebration service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 29, from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with J. Murray Mathis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or Alive Hospice.
