Born in Meadville in 1856, she was a graduate of Meadville Academy and became the first teacher at the Odd Fellows Home beginning her work in the 1870's.
Mrs. Daniels also taught at the following area schools: Shrew, Pierson, Orris, Church, Wayland, where she spent 35 years, and Frenchtown.
Her husband, Warren P. Daniels, an East Mead Township farmer died in 1921.
Mrs. Daniels' chief interests were the Unitarian Church and the Democratic party.
Friends may call at the Waid Funeral Home in Meadville from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Sunday. Services will be held at the Unitarian Church Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Greendale Cemetery, Meadville.
