Beverly L. Biondolillo, 86, Riverbend Estates, passed away January 23, 2013 at Samaritan Keep Home, where she had been a resident for the past three years.

Mrs. Biondolillo was born November 28, 1926 in Watertown, a daughter of Leonard and Hazel Beecher Pfister. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1945. On October 23, 1948 she married Samuel S. Biondolillo at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church with Reverend Joseph A. Francoeur officiating.

Mrs. Biondolillo retired as a vice president of Key Bank of Central New York and the branch manager of the bank's main office on Washington Street. Mrs. Biondolillo held many positions at Key Bank during her career, including loan officer, manager of the Northland Plaza branch and the Northside branch. After high school she was employed with the Agricultural Insurance Company. She had taken several banking courses administered by the American Institute of Banking and was a member of the National Association of Bank Women. She also attended the New York State Bankers Consumer Credit School at West point in the mid-1970s.

Mrs. Biondolillo was active in numerous community and civic organizations, including serving as treasurer of the advisory board of the Salvation Army and assistant treasurer for the Jefferson County Association for the Blind, Inc. She was also a member of the selection committee for the Watertown Foundation's "Humanitarian of the Year" award and was involved with the Old Newsboys fund raising campaign for the Salvation Army.

Mrs. Biondolillo enjoyed cooking, Sunday family dinners, reading, gardening and especially her roses.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons and a daughter in law; Michael, of Watertown, Timothy and Susan, of Plattsburg, a daughter, Suzanne Belcher, of Watertown, a brother, Kenneth Pfister, of Watertown, two sisters, Norma Pond, of Boonville, Natalie Thomas, of Brewerton, six grandchildren, Jason and Chad Belcher, Amy Rizzo, Michael, Jr., Mia and Samuel Biondolillo, two great grandchildren Lucia Rizzo and Nicole Belcher. A sister Shirley Newman died before her.

Calling hours will be Friday from4-7pm at D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. A prayer service will be Saturday at 9:15 am at the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at 10 am at Holy Family Church with Reverend Steven Murray officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 120 Washington Street, Suite 419, Watertown, NY.
