Anna (Munker) Pfister died of childbirth complications after the birth of their daughter, Hilda. Lawrence then married Victoria Reiser in 1911 and adopted Victoria’s nephew, Roman Reiser, son of Frank & Anna (Kolbe) Reiser. They also had two sons, Ralph and Hilmer Pfister.
