Edwin F. Phelps, 77, a resident of Bolivar, died at 11:05 AM Friday, November 27, in St. John's Hospital in Springfield after a brief illness.
He was born in Cedar County, and had made his home in Springfield for several years, moving to Bolivar in 1956. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Springfield.
Survivors are his wife, Wilma Watts Phelps; daughter, Mrs. Helen Smith; sister, Mrs. E. M. Love; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Burial Sunday, November 29, in Greenwood Cemetery.
