Francesco (Frank) Pinza, a San Rafael resident for the past 47 years, died this morning in his home, 11 Treanor Street, after being under treatment for a heart condition for 10 years.
Pinza was born in Italy 75 years ago, and moved to San Rafael in 1907. He was a member of a Northwestern Pacific Railroad maintenance crew for 20 years, and worked as a gardener until his retirement in 1943. Pinza was a member of Foresters of America.
Holy Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow in Keaton's Chapel in San Rafael. Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday from Keaton's Mortuary thence to St. Raphael's Church where a Requiem Mass will commence at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
