Beverley J. Plaxton, 89, of Victorville passed into the presence of the Lord on May 17, 2014. She has been a resident of Victorville for the past 30 years. Prior to that, she was a resident of Claremont for 20 years. She was employed for 11 years in telephone sales for Sears, Roebuck and Co. Beverley was born in Cambridge, Ohio and came to California in 1942. She met her husband, Albert E. Plaxton, Jr. at LIFE Bible College in Los Angeles and they were married in 1944. They were married for 58 years before his death in 2002. She is survived by her four sons; Paul (Marcia) of Yucaipa; Joel T. (Melody) of Cameron Park, CA ; Jonathon (Cathleen) of Ontario and Albert E. III (Patricia) of Victorville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and sister, Vera Anker, of Pinson, AL. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and her brother, a granddaughter and a great-grandson. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 24 at the Victor Valley Memorial Park, 15609 11th St. Victorville, Ca at 11:00 am. The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Teen Challenge of Southern California, 5445 Chicago Ave. Riverside, CA. Published in San Bernardino Sun on May 23, 2014.
