Mrs. Mary Frances Pointer Aldridge

Mrs. Mary Frances Pointer Aldridge is the daughter of Mrs. Verlee Gray and the late Mr. Robert Pointer. She was born on July 23, 1925, in Morgan County, Ala. She departed this life on January 23, 1998. Frances grew up in Decatur and attended school in this area.

She expressed hope in Christ and united with St. Stephen P.B. Church. Frances always loved her church and it always showed in her praises unto the Lord. Frances was a very active member in the Bright Star Social Club.

She leaves to cherish her memory a very devoted companion of thirty-five years, Mr. Elbert Sanders of Decatur, Ala.; two sons, Donnie L. Aldridge Sr. (Cheryl) and Ronnie B. Aldridge, Sr. (Felecia) both of Decatur, Ala.; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a mother, Mrs. Verlee Gray of Decatur, Ala.; six brothers, Eddie Lee Pointer of Louisville, Ky., John Pointer (Gladys), Bruce Pointer (Silvia), Leeman Pointer, James Pointer, Jessie L. Pointer (Jean) all of Decatur, Ala.; six sisters, Christine Lyle, Fannie Mae Pointer, Mary Ann Pointer, Bertha L. Pointer, Shirley Malone and Deborah Carter (Louis) all of Decatur, Ala.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends.
