Anne E. (Pond) Alexander, 78, of E. Syracuse, passed away on Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Petersburg, Virginia, she was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1998 and her daughter Diana A. McLaughlin in 1994. Survivors: two daughters, Mary Lou McAllister of E. Syracuse and Nancy Roth of Rockville, MD; two sons, Robert Jr. of Minoa and Larry of Chittenango; one sister, Mickey Sharp of Hopewell, VA; one brother, Thomas Pond of Colonial Heights, VA; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services 11 a.m. Monday, February 28, at First United Church of E. Syracuse, Kirkville Rd. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, February 27, at Forani & Cline Funeral Home, 206 Kinne St., E. Syracuse.
