She was born in Ticonderoga, Dec. 17, 1916, the daughter of Morton and Mary (Clark) Porter.
She was a lifetime Ticonderoga resident.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court of St. Mary's No. 794 of Ticonderoga, the Ticonderoga Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Ticonderoga, and the American Legion, Post 224 of the Ladies Auxiliary of Ticonderoga.
Her husband, Francis E. Barber; and three sisters, Arlene Burch, Florence Slater and Jennie Town, all died earlier.
Arrangements by the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 33 Algonkin Street, Ticonderoga.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery in Ticonderoga.
