On July 13, 1851 in New York City, she married John Campbell Beach, a lawyer & a member of the Yale University secret society Skull & Bones. He was in the first group of 15, in 1833. He died from a boiler explosion on board the ship "Empire State" in 1856, as a passenger.
Buried on May 4, 1883.
