Susan Porter Bartolomeo, 66, of Phoenix, NY, passed away Friday at Community Hospital. She was born in Boston and had been a resident of the Syracuse area for 54 years. Susan retired from the Veterans Hospital after 13 years and also worked at the Syracuse Eye Center for 19 years. A very active member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, she was a member of the Vestry and the Altar Guild. Survivors: her husband of 37 years, Richard J. Bartolomeo; stepdaughters, Kim Mangano and Laurie (Mickey) Moore, both of Syracuse; brother, David F. (Kathy) Porter of Syracuse; grandson, Anthony Mangano; nephew, Dan Porter; and niece Katie Porter. Funeral Services: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Farone & Son Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 137 Gertrude Ave., North Syracuse. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 1500 Park St. Contributions may be made to the SPCA.
