Burial Of John T. Power
Funeral services for Civil War Veteran This Afternoon
Funeral services for John T. Power, a Civil War veteran, who died Sunday of cirrhosis of the liver, were held at the Berkshire, his late residence, this afternoon. Interment was in Arlington Cemetery.

Mr. Power had been a resident of this city for the last eighteen years, following his retirement from the navy. For about twenty-six years prior to that time he had spent much of his time here and had kept his family home in this city.

He saw active service in the Civil War, serving on vessels on the Potomac and Mississippi Rivers. He was born at Rockville, Maryland, sixty-seven years ago. He was a member of the G.A.R. and Odd Fellows.

His widow, Mrs. Annie L. Power and one son, William H. Power, survive him.
