RICHMOND - Aubrey Patrick Power, 84, of Richmond, formerly of Newport News, died Monday, July 25, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Florence Wohanka Power; nephews, Allen Power and Leigh Power; cousins, Mary Perry Pleva and Dorothy Perry Kiger. Mr. Power was preceded in death by a son, Steven Patrick Power. Mr. Power graduated from Maury High School in Norfolk and attended the apprentice school at Newport News Shipyard and the Newport News Business School. He was employed as a salesman by General Foods and retired from DuBois Chemical. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a ship fitter and diver for sunken submarines. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel mausoleum at Westhampton Memorial Park. Arrangements provided by Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Road.
