Bathia Porter Prall was born in Pennsylvania, February 1, 1843. She moved with her parents to Clinton county, Ohio, where she taught school for awhile. Here she met Thomas Cline to whom she was married on May 31, 1866. To this union, 10 children were born. Three of whom died in infancy. The others grew to maturity and are still living, with the exception of one daughter, who died eight years ago. She is survived by her husband of Brownington, and six children as follows: Mrs. Rosa Done, Mrs. Flora Ford, Milton Cline, Grover C. Cline, and Henry and Elra Cline, who reside with them in the home. All the children who are living were able to be present at the funeral. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Cline was converted and joined the Baptist church when she was just a girl, and at the time of her death she was a member of the Finey Baptist church. Although they have been living in Brownington for 8 years, she never moved her church membership from Finey, where they lived on a farm near the church for a number of years. She was a good and faithful Christian, and found joy in serving her Lord. Sister Cline had been in failing health for a number of years. all that loving hands could do was done to make her comfortable, but for some time she had just been awaiting the call of her Master, whom she loved, that she might leave the old tabernacle of the body and might enter her mansion in the skies. The call came early Monday morning, January 17th, and she has gone to be with her Savior, where there is no sickness, sorrow nor death, and to be with her loved ones over there and to await the coming of the others. She was 83 years, 11 months and 16 days old. Funeral services were conducted at the Brownington Baptist church by James D. Briggs, Tuesday afternoon, and the body was borne to the beautiful cemetery near by and tenderly laid to rest.
