Marjorie P. Davel, 87, of Tomah, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Tomah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 29, 1927 to Joseph and Hildegard (Jacoby) Prom, at Port Washington. On May 9, 1953, she was united in marriage to John R. Davel. They met while working at Modern Equipment, he as a drafting engineer, and her as a secretary. Marjorie was a homemaker and worked, as a secretary, for Countryside Magazine and Allen Edmonds Shoe Factory. She liked to read magazines and had an interest in keeping an eye on medical changes, in order to find the best ways to keep her family healthy.

She is survived by her husband, John, 2 sons, Doug (Sharon) Davel of Warrens, Jim Davel of Oostburg, 3 daughters, Jill (Jim) Teisberg, of Cambridge, Judy Isaac, of Renton, WA, Linda Davel, of Madison, and 3 brothers Robert (Marie) Prom, of Belgium, Fred (Judy) Prom, of Mayville, Alan (Joanne) Prom, of West Bend, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Harold Prom and a sister Joan Roob.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Tomah. Monsignor Richard W. Gilles will officiate. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Tomah. Relatives and friends are invited to call at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the mass. A parish rosary will be held on Friday at 9:30 A.M. at the church. The Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting with the services. Online condolences may be given at www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com
