Joan F. Pruden Ehrgott 76, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, January 23 2006. She was born June 9, 1929 in La Porte, Indiana the daughter of Richard and Loretta (Foldnauer) Pruden.

She was the co-owner of Ehrgott Rubber Stamp Company and the Westside Enterprise Newspaper. She is a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Little Flower Ladies Auxiliary and the Knight of Columbus Auxiliary.

Joan is the widow of Richard E. Ehrgott. She is survived by her children: Mary Clevenger, Richard, Steve, and John Ehrgott; sisters: Patricia Weaver, Dorothy Riley and Margaret Hennessey; brother, James Pruden; 14 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, James Ehrgott.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 27th at Feeney - Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 North Shadeland Ave., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 26th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Lissencephaly Network, 10408 Bitterroot Court, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
