She married her beloved husband Faustino Pedraza on April 13, 1958. Together they raised their three amazing sons, whom she loved more than anything.
She was preceded in death by her parents Florencia and Ramon Quiroga; her brothers Rudy Quiroga, Raymundo Quiroga and her baby sister Ponciana Quiroga.
She was survived by her husband, Tino, of 57 years and by her siblings; Lupe Nieto (Federico); Josie Quiroga; Mary Lou Acosta (Joe); Ramiro Quiroga (Ester); Rosalinda Gonzalez; Raul Quiroga; Ruben Quiroga (Irene); Bertha Ochoa (Mundo) and very special sister in laws, Erlinda Quiroga and Lupe Quiroga. She leaves her cherished memories and loving legacy with her sons; Faustino Pedraza Jr. and wife Kelly of El Paso; Fernando and wife Denise of Brazito, and Santiago and wife Melissa of Rio Rancho; her grandchildren, Jennifer Pedraza of Denver, Brittney Segobia and husband Mike of Brazito; Zachary Pedraza of Rio Rancho, Damario Pedraza of Brazito; and Addison Pedraza of El Paso; great grandchildren; Davian and Evangelene Segobia. Flora also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who she loved and cared for dearly.
Flora will always be remembered for her hard work, whether at a local department store at the downtown mall or while working in the cotton field which she picked for many years.
Flora loved to cook for her family and was well known for her amazing food. She was always telling her family “ya vengan se a comer.” Her recipes will live on. She also loved to travel with her husband and enjoyed all of the beautiful places they visit.
Flora was devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish for 57 years.
Services were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Tortugas, New Mexico with interment followed at Hillcrest Memorial Garden Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Damario Pedraza, Zachary Pedraza, Mike Segobia, Raul Quiroga, Ramiro Quiroga, and Ruben Quiroga. Honorary pallbearers were Davian and Evangelene Segobia.
Getz Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
