Esther Louise Raulston Angel, 78, of Hixson, died on Thursday, August 19, 2004.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bishop Wallace Angel; her sons, Larry and daughter-in-law Sandy Angel, Steve and daughter-in-law Diane Angel; daughters, Becky and son-in-law Don Cain, and Melinda and son-in-law Bobby Moye; brother, Norman Raulston; four sisters, Norena Gann, Mary Hendricks, Rema Masterson, and Daphna Williams; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zachari and Nancy Raulston; brother, Virgil Raulston, and grandson, Robert L. Moye III.

She was one of the matriarchs of the Red Bank Church of God where she was a charter member and active participant in the Ladies Auxiliary. She faithfully supported her husband who pastored the church for 29 years. She was also instrumental in the construction and numerous financing efforts to build and maintain the church.

The funeral will be at 2:30 PM Sunday, at the Red Bank Church of God with Bishop Charles Pittman officiating. Pallbearers will her grandsons.

Interment will be follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Highway 153.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at the Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike in Soddy Daisy.
